Content Licensing Operations Manager (Sports/Media/Entertainment)

The Licensing Project Manager is involved in several aspects of the licensing process but will focus mainly on requesting and troubleshooting ingest of content, management of the annual research projects on behalf of high-value customers, and identifying and implementing efficiencies. The LPM communicates directly with Licensing Account Managers, supplier partners and clients to facilitate the project from inquiry to final license. WHAT YOU’LL DO 1) The Licensing Project Manager will assist Account Managers in the editorial, documentary and entertainment verticals to complete client projects. Direct client communications, independent research, and collaboration with Supplier Account Managers and CSM’s will be required. Professional experience with customer communications and direct troubleshooting is required. Key Skills:

  • Organization: an LPM will have several suppliers to manage and communicate with
  • Multitasking: projects are not linear and require patience. A successful LPM will demonstrate that they can switch between projects and communicate status updates effectively
  • Identify efficiencies: after learning the intricacies of each platform and a supplier’s ingest methods, an LPM should feel empowered to suggest and manage workflow updates/changes as necessary.

2) Regarding sports content: Sports Conferences represented: Big Ten, Pac-12, NCAA, US Soccer, Masters Golf Tournament, US Tennis Association, USA Swimming, French Tennis Federation.

  • Annual research projects: Provides white-glove research to various high-profile customers:College football prospect research

College basketball/March Madness NCAA Championship access for Member Institutions

  • The LPM will utilize knowledge of several collegiate/professional sports, navigate and research through content in our Core and Commerce platforms, communicate relevant findings with AM’s and clients
  • Communicate with conference partners for copyright questions and project approvals as needed
  • Work independently or with Supplier Account Managers to request, ingest and make footage available to clients and Licensing Account Managers as needed, while also identifying and implementing any ingest efficiencies and updates that might be relevant.
