Fiction Writers for Ongoing Business on (Clean) Regency Romance Novels (Long-Term Opportunity)
Hi Upworkers! I represent a growing Publishing organization and need your help. We are expanding our operations in the Historical Romance niche and more specifically “Regency”. We need several romance eBooks written, of about 80,000 words in total each (for starters). This is going to be a LONG-TERM project. We are looking to create an ongoing business relationship with the chosen bidder(s). This is not a once off job, there are many future projects in the pipeline. We will only be accepting authors with experience in the specific genre, so please only apply if this is the case. - The pilot project will be delivered into 4 milestones of around 20,000 words each. -The proposed budget for each milestone is $300 ($1.5/100 words) -We can offer a rate as high as $1.9/100 in case of high-quality content - A brief sales blurb (~250-300 words) will be expected as part of one of the milestones (guidelines and examples will be provided) - The budget for each milestone also includes one round of revisions according to editorial notes. - NATIVE English speakers only. - Content should be creative, HIGH QUALITY and 100% original. - Any use of AI should be disclosed and discussed in advance. - It really needs to talk to the audience. Something that they can relate to. They need to identify with the characters. - CAPTIVATE THE AUDIENCE, stimulate thoughts in the mind of the readers. - Must be experienced and have excellent spelling, grammar and punctuation. - Ideally, have prior experience writing for the specific genre. - All material must be original content and written in your own words. - Small research in the niche or topic might be required in order to understand the MINDSET of the READERS. - Copyright will be transferred to our team and publishing company as represented by this account The eBook should be delivered in .doc or .docx format.
