Senior Data Engineer

What you will be doing: We are seeking an Engineer with python and Azure Databricks to design and build scalable data platforms and AI-enabled applications. This is not a traditional data engineering role, it emphasizes full-stack engineering, agentic AI systems, and cloud-native architectures. You will work across the entire delivery lifecycle, from architecture and development to deployment and optimization, enabling organizations to operationalize AI and modernize their data ecosystems. Required Skills & Experience To excel in this role, you should possess: 3+ years of experience in: Azure Databricks Databricks solutions Cloud platform engineering 5+ years of Python for backend development. Intermediate knowledge of: Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred) CI/CD pipelines (Git/GitHub) Security and identity management Experience building and deploying scalable cloud-native systems Hands-on experience building AI-powered applications with agents: Agent frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, etc.) MCP / A2A communication patterns Experience with prompt engineering and LLM orchestration Nice to Have: Experience with at least one frontend framework (React, Next.js, etc.) Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Azure AI Search) Knowledge of additional programming languages (.NET, Java, C++) Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and systems thinking Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions Excellent communication and client-facing skills Capability to work independently and own deliverables Collaborative mindset with cross-functional teams Adaptability in fast-paced, innovation-driven environments Why you will love Lean Tech: Join a powerful tech workforce and help us change the world through technology Professional development opportunities with international customers Collaborative work environment Career path and mentorship programs that will lead to new levels.
