Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Director of Data Analytics to join our Store Mechanization and Development team. As a key member of this team, you'll be responsible for developing a framework of KPIs to measure the effectiveness of our initiatives. You'll work closely with our leadership team to define metrics, design and implement data pipelines and dashboards, and report progress towards our objectives on a regular basis.

Key Responsibilities

* Identify and analyze business issues within your domain, challenge assumptions, and recommend solutions to drive business growth

• Develop and implement data-driven strategies to inform business decisions, leveraging data visualization tools and techniques
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data pipelines, dashboards, and reports that meet business needs
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of business requirements, data sources, and data quality, ensuring accurate and timely insights
• Communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders, using clear and compelling storytelling techniques
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analytics, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as mathematics, statistics, or computer science

• Proven experience in data analysis, data science, or a related field, with a strong understanding of statistical concepts and data visualization techniques
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and large data tools (e.g., Hive)
• Experience with dashboarding tools (e.g., Looker) and workflow management tools (e.g., Wind current)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in a quantitative field, such as mathematics, statistics, or computer science

• Experience with artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques
• Experience leading a team of analysts or data scientists
• Familiarity with data governance and data quality principles
• Certification in data science or a related field (e.g., Certified Data Scientist, Certified Analytics Professional)
