Key Responsibilities

As a Logistics Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Customer Advocacy: Serve as a dedicated customer advocate, providing timely and effective support through email, phone, and online portals to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with internal teams, including buyers and planners, to ensure accurate and timely deliveries, keeping customers informed throughout the process.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Partner with buyers and planners to address customer needs and meet vital deadlines, contributing to the smooth operation of our logistics network.
  • Returns & Credits: Process returns, credits, and execute various customer service tasks with precision, ensuring seamless customer experiences.
  • Customs Documentation: Manage customs documentation for international shipments, contributing to a seamless global logistics experience.

Required Skills

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Customer Service Expertise: A minimum of 2 years of customer service experience, demonstrating expertise in client engagement, conflict resolution, and issue escalation.
  • Supply Chain Knowledge: A strong interest in supply chain dynamics; relevant knowledge is advantageous, but not mandatory.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • System Familiarity: Familiarity with mainframe systems such as AS/400 is a plus; experience with J.D. Edwards is highly desirable.
  • Multitasking & Attention to Detail: Excellent multitasking capabilities coupled with meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and efficiency in your work.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you'll need:

  • Relevant Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience in a customer service environment.
  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to navigate a fast-paced setting effectively.
  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a degree in Business or Logistics is preferred but not mandatory.
