Experience in educational psychology, youth program development, or science communication is valuable. Qualifications: Background in curriculum development, K–12 education, instructional design, health education, or teaching/school administration; passion for women's health education and understanding of adolescent development preferred but not required. Location: Remote Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation for this role is $55,000 – $75,000/year based on title, seniority, and location. Through digital education tools, school partnerships, workshops, and community outreach, Girlie aims to close the gap in comprehensive menstrual and hormonal health literacy by creating modern, age-appropriate educational resources. We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Curriculum Development Specialist to help shape the educational foundation of our programs and future school initiatives. Role Overview The Volunteer Curriculum Development Specialist will help design and guide educational content related to menstrual cycle literacy, hormonal health, emotional wellbeing, nutrition, movement, and body awareness for youth audiences. This role will support the development of age-appropriate, engaging, and accessible educational materials for:

  • Schools
  • Workshops
  • Digital learning tools
  • Community programs
  • Future curriculum partnerships

The ideal candidate understands both educational structure and student engagement, and is excited about helping modernize women’s health education for younger generations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing educational frameworks and lesson structures
  • Help create age-appropriate curriculum for preteens, teens, and young adults
  • Provide guidance on educational standards and classroom usability
  • Support development of workshop materials, presentations, and digital learning resources
  • Help ensure educational content is inclusive, accessible, and evidence-informed
