We’re looking for someone with excellent writing and research skills to be our Content/Copywriter. As a member of the creative team, the copywriter will write and edit content for a variety of projects (including press releases, white‑papers, marketing collateral for portfolio companies such as product description, etc., blogs, web, mobile, video, and social media), working closely with the marketing and design teams to brainstorm ideas, develop concepts, and articulate messaging. The most successful candidate will be a quick learner who has a versatile writing style. We are a small organization but with huge potential defined by our ecosystem of leaders, customers and of course our incredible team. What you will be working on As a member of the creative team, the copywriter will write and edit content for a variety of projects (including press releases, white‑papers, marketing collateral for portfolio companies such as product description, etc., blogs, web, mobile, video, and social media), working closely with the marketing and design teams to brainstorm ideas, develop concepts, and articulate messaging.

Key Responsibilities

  • Write original copy and edit content for a range of marketing and communications materials, for a variety of media including social, print, video, and online.
  • Meet with Department Leader to understand the intended audience and the message the company wants to communicate.
  • Edit and proof work to ensure high editorial standards are met across all content outputs.
  • Present copy concepts and final deliverables to internal team and to client representative when requested.
  • Revise copy based on feedback and requirements.
  • Collaborate with creative, product, marketing, and legal to generate company approved press releases.
  • Drive brand consistency across all company communications
  • Stay current on trends and competitors within the editorial sphere.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Performs additional related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Write long‑form, strategic content for a variety of different businesses (Core messaging documents, FAQs, Policies, and Guidelines)
  • Translate long‑form and executive content into social and digital formats that extend reach and engagement
  • Ghostwrite on behalf of senior financial and media executives (Blogs, Bi‑lined articles)
  • Develop persuasive sales copy for email and social media campaigns and websites
  • Strategically identify opportunities to amplify content across owned and shared media channels
  • Proactively recommend distribution strategies based on audience behavior and industry trends
  • Support media relations efforts and planning for executives (bonus)
  • Understand how content supports the full funnel, from awareness through conversion, and write accordingly.

Skills

  • The ability with financial, media, or business leaders on complex subject matter
  • Communicates ideas with clarity and structure
  • Comfortable rapidly switching topics, industries, and writing styles
  • Exceptional proofreading and copy‑editing skills
  • Deadline driven, with an ability to quickly submit multiple drafts with short feedback loops
  • Comfortable editing and publishing content directly in WordPress (bonus)

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communication or Marketing is preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience supporting corporate clients.
  • Excellent command of the English language.
  • Must have technical background with a focus on writing, with the ability to present complex data in clear, concise text.
  • Must have ability to analyze and synthesize data to deliver on point messaging for intended audiences.
  • History of developing creative written content.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and to work independently.
  • Ability to edit and proofread work of colleagues.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
