Senior Illustrator (Remote / Freelance)

We’re looking for a Senior Illustrator who can turn ideas into compelling visual stories. This role goes beyond execution — we want someone who can think conceptually, bring a strong point of view, and elevate our brand through illustration. You’ll collaborate closely with design, product, and marketing to create visuals that are not only beautiful, but meaningful and effective. What you’ll do Create high-quality illustrations across digital products, marketing, and brand touchpoints Develop visual concepts from rough ideas to polished execution Define and evolve illustration styles and systems Translate complex ideas into clear, engaging visuals Maintain consistency while adapting style when needed Contribute to creative direction and visual storytelling What we’re looking for 5+ years of professional illustration experience A strong portfolio showing conceptual thinking, not just aesthetics Ability to work across styles (editorial, product, branding, etc.) Experience working with digital products or tech companies is a plus Strong understanding of composition, color, and visual hierarchy Ability to take feedback and iterate quickly Comfortable working independently in a remote environment Bonus points Motion or animation skills Experience collaborating with product/design teams Familiarity with illustration systems or scalable visual languages How we work Remote-friendly, async communication High ownership, low micromanagement Fast-moving, collaborative environment How to apply Please include: Portfolio (must) A short note on your approach to illustration and problem-solving (Optional) A case study showing how your illustrations solved a real problem.
