Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Entry Remote Assistant to join our team on a long-term basis. This is a remote opportunity located outside the USA, offering a competitive weekly salary of $1500. As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in developing and maintaining data coverage, providing department insights on performance, and designing data pipelines to handle multiple quantitative projects. You'll work closely with our technology team to meet company needs and data warehouse requirements, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective data management.

Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Remote Assistant at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

• Developing new, modifying existing, and executing ad-hoc reporting on behalf of business procedures and data-driven decision making
• Creating relevant dashboards on Power BI and Excel to provide actionable insights
• Establishing solid data quality standards and management to ensure data integrity and availability
• Managing and generating new data pipelines from resource systems to the Data Warehouse
• Collaborating with Administration and Business Analysts to identify business requirements, maintain detailed documentation, and obtain company sign-offs for all reporting demands
• Developing, maintaining, and establishing scalable data pipes and data architecture
• Applying data storytelling principles to create clear and impactful data visualizations using Power BI
• Helping automate existing business processes and enhancing exception-based reporting
• Collaborating with IT and BA's to investigate, research, and obtain new data variables (data mining)
• Analyzing large datasets to identify significant patterns that provide actionable results
• Verifying records for formality by checking against requirements
• Analyzing data errors and remediating poor data
• Participating in the Data Governance plan by improving the data dictionary and plan & procedures
• Analyzing and validating metrics to ensure effectiveness and providing reviews to department innovators of patterns that need attention

Essential Qualifications

* 2+ years of experience performing in-depth data analysis

• Strong experience working with Power BI, including:

+ Dimensions, Measures, Filters, Computed Columns, transformations, measures, conditional formatting, DAX queries, Interactions, etc. + Knowledge of DAX, SQL, M Code

• Proficiency in SQL, with the ability to write complex SQL queries to create files and analytics
• Experience with ETL tools such as SSIS, Power BI Dataflows, or other Big Data integrations
• Strong data modeling knowledge using star schema or other approaches
• Problem-solving skills through analytical evaluation with large data sets
• Experience with SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio), Power BI, and Power Query
• Familiarity with Smartsheets
• Strong initiative in the progression and timely completion of projects and deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or QlikView

• Knowledge of data governance principles and best practices
• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Experience with data quality and data validation techniques
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
