Role Description Spectrum Science is seeking a strategic, data-driven, and innovative Manager of Paid Social with pharmaceutical industry experience to support and execute paid social media efforts. This role will contribute to strategy, execution, and performance across multiple brands, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines while maximizing engagement and business impact. The Manager, Paid Social should enjoy strategic thinking while also being comfortable rolling up their sleeves to support execution, distribution, and optimization. They will be an energetic and collaborative team member who contributes to high-performing brands and accounts. Ideally, the right candidate has an interest in healthcare and how to effectively reach both HCP and patient audiences, though direct healthcare experience is not required. As an idea partner, this individual understands the value of collaboration and works closely with cross-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality work that not only meets client needs but consistently exceeds expectations. Job Responsibilities

  • Hands on management of paid campaigns across Meta, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Reddit, responsible for building campaigns, creating QA documents, naming conventions and setup.
  • Manage multi-million-dollar paid social budgets, including pacing oversight, optimization recommendations, and budget reconciliation.
  • Serve as the day-to-day paid social contact leading smaller clients, sharing clear performance updates and next-step recommendations and escalating complex needs to senior team members as needed.
  • Maintain strong executional standards across builds, QA, naming conventions, and trafficking to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Demonstrate a working understanding of healthcare and pharmaceutical paid social requirements, including platform rules, regulations, and guardrails.
  • Analyze campaign performance data to uncover meaningful insights; contribute to regular performance reporting by translating performance data into actionable takeaways and communicate them in a concise, client-friendly way.
  • Support measurement and learning agendas by setting up tests and summarizing what worked, what didn’t, and what to do next.
  • Identify opportunities for campaign optimization and recommend strategic shifts when needed.
  • Own optimization approach (pacing, budget shifts, bid/goal adjustments, audience refinement) identifying opportunities for campaign optimization and improve efficiency and results against KPIs.
  • Support planning by providing platform inputs (audience ideas, formats, targeting, best practices, estimated budgets/flighting) to inform channel approach.
  • Collaborate with other media disciplines (e.g., programmatic, search) to inform integrated channel strategies.
  • Develop internal strategic and creative assignment briefs to support editorial and campaign planning.
  • Support organic growth efforts by flagging opportunities within existing campaigns (new audiences, additional placements, incremental budget needs).
  • Maintain a point of view on major social media platforms and emerging opportunities.
  • Partner closely with supervisors, directors, creative teams, project managers, and account teams to ensure social strategies are executed effectively.
  • Adapt quickly across multiple brands and therapeutic areas as needs evolve.

Qualifications

  • 1–3+ years of social media experience, including end-to-end execution of paid campaigns.
  • Comfortable working directly within platform backends (e.g., Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok), including campaign setup, trafficking, optimization, and reporting.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on platform execution.
  • Experience supporting multiple brands or accounts across different audiences or categories preferred.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.

  • The anticipated hourly rate for this position will be $28.85-$38.46/hour. This position is eligible for overtime pay.
