Join our team and become part of a supportive environment where your contributions make a difference every day.‎ How will you make an impact & Requirements ‎ Position Overview: As a PRN Data Entry Specialist at Millennium Home Care, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records. Your responsibilities will involve inputting and verifying data into our electronic health records system. You will work closely with our clinical team to ensure data accuracy and timely entry. Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Input: Accurately input patient information, including demographic data, medical history, and treatment plans, into our electronic health records system.
  • Data Verification: Review and verify data for accuracy and completeness, ensuring data integrity.
  • Data Cleaning: Identify and correct data errors or inconsistencies.
  • File Maintenance: Organize and maintain physical and electronic patient files.
  • Document Scanning: Scan and index patient documents, ensuring proper storage and retrieval.
  • Report Generation: Assist in generating reports as needed, such as patient demographics or treatment summaries.
  • Compliance Adherence: Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information.

Job Conditions: This position involves managing deadlines and a high volume of telephone communication. While primarily sedentary, some standing, walking, and minimal lifting may be required. Strong communication skills, both oral and written, are essential. Occasional travel may be necessary. Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of six months of office experience.
  • Proficiency in typing and other clerical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to patient care.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
