We are hiring a Lead Developer / Systems Architect to help drive the scalability, reliability, and long-term evolution of our PHP and WordPress platform. Role Overview This is a senior engineering role focused on backend architecture, scalability, system reliability, and advanced WordPress development. You will define technical direction across PHP and WordPress systems, contribute to platform architecture, and work closely with engineering, SEO, product, and growth teams to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions.
Responsibilities
Architect and maintain scalable PHP and WordPress systems Lead technical direction for backend architecture and platform reliability Build and extend backend services, APIs, and integrations Develop and maintain custom WordPress functionality Improve application performance, scalability, and maintainability Define engineering standards and development best practices Support integrations with analytics, SEO, and third-party systems Identify and resolve architectural and performance bottlenecks Mentor engineers and contribute to long-term technical strategy
Requirements
