Job Summary We are seeking a highly technical Quality Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on ensuring the reliability and integrity of complex, multi-layered applications. You will be responsible for designing and implementing robust automated testing strategies for web UIs, APIs, and related end-to-end data flows, while occasionally supporting both new and legacy systems through manual exploratory testing.

Responsibilities

Automated testing for distributed systems, microservices, and end-to-end data flows API testing for RESTful services and third-party integrations Validation of asynchronous/event-driven data pipelines and message brokers Testing complex backend processes, including large-scale file uploads and multi-stage processing Strong focus on both automation and manual exploratory testing Collaboration with Software Engineers and Product Managers using shift-left testing practices Qualifications and Job Requirements 7+ years of experience in Software Quality Engineering Strong experience with automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or PyTest Expertise in API testing using REST APIs, Postman, PyTest, or similar tools Experience with automated testing for web UIs, APIs, and data flows Hands-on experience with SQL, message queues, and event-driven architectures Strong understanding of distributed systems, multi-layered applications, MFE, and SOA architectures Proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript with solid OOP knowledge Experience testing third-party integrations and complex backend processes Strong problem-solving, test design, and communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders What We Offer 100% Remote Work: Enjoy the freedom to work from the location that helps you thrive.
