IT Infra Lead
This role is for one of our clients Location: India (Remote) Reporting to: UK Headquarters Employment Type: Full-time Experience Required: 10–18 years Industry: Life Sciences Technology \n \n₹12,00,000 - ₹35,00,000 a year We are a fast-growing UK-based technology company building a next-generation regulatory compliance platform for the life sciences industry. As we scale globally, we are looking for a hands-on and strategic IT Infra Lead to own and evolve our technology infrastructure — from endpoint management and cloud systems to security and compliance. This is a high-ownership role suited to someone who thrives in a lean, high-trust environment.
What You Will Do
Own end-to-end IT infrastructure including cloud environments, endpoint management, networking, and SaaS platforms across India and UK operations Configure, manage, and maintain Windows and macOS systems including device lifecycle, provisioning, patching, and remote support across multiple geographies Administer MDM platforms (Microsoft Intune / Jamf) for policy enforcement, remote provisioning, and device compliance Manage Microsoft 365 stack — Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams — including identity governance, Conditional Access, and Privileged Identity Management (PIM) Design and enforce Zero Trust security architecture including MFA, SSO, endpoint protection, and access control policies Manage and monitor security posture using Microsoft Defender Suite, Sentinel (SIEM), and vulnerability management tools Own incident response, security monitoring, and IT risk management in alignment with ISO 27001 / SOC 2 / GDPR requirements Manage networking infrastructure including SD-WAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP, and firewall policies (Cisco / Palo Alto / Fortinet) Administer and optimise core SaaS platforms across HR, CRM, and productivity tools; own integrations and vendor relationships Collaborate closely with DevOps and engineering teams on CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and IT automation Drive IT automation using PowerShell, Python, or Microsoft Power Platform to reduce manual effort and improve reliability Manage IT budget, vendor contracts, procurement, and asset tracking Maintain IT policies, documentation, and audit readiness in line with life sciences compliance requirements Core Skills & Stack Endpoint & Devices: Windows, macOS, Intune, Jamf, device lifecycle, remote provisioning Cloud & Identity: Azure, Entra ID, M365, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Conditional Access, PIM Security: Defender Suite, Sentinel, Zero Trust, endpoint protection, incident response Networking: SD-WAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP, firewall — Cisco, Palo Alto, or Fortinet Compliance: ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR — audit readiness and policy documentation Automation: PowerShell, Python, Power Platform, CI/CD awareness, DevOps collaboration Good to Have Experience with Microsoft Copilot / M365 AI productivity tools Exposure to Azure Virtual Desktop or VDI environments Familiarity with ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow or Jira Experience in a SaaS product company or startup environment Knowledge of GxP or life sciences IT compliance requirements Preferred Certifications AZ-104 · AZ-500 · MS-102 · SC-300 · CompTIA Security+ · ISO 27001 Lead Implementer What We Are Looking For A self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision in a lean, cross-border team Strong communicator — comfortable working across time zones with UK-based stakeholders Equally comfortable rolling up their sleeves on day-to-day IT issues and thinking strategically about infrastructure roadmap High ownership mindset — treats the company's systems as their own \n Apply To This Job
