Job Summary:

Under the direct supervision of the Manager/Department Head or designee, the Receptionist/Data Entry Clerk will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and administrative support services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for greeting visitors, directing patrons/patients, and performing a full range of data entry and administrative support services.

Core Job Responsibilities:

  • Receive visitors at the front desk, greet, welcome, direct, and announce them
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner
  • Receive and sort daily mail, ensuring timely and efficient processing
  • Address and escalate customer complaints in a empathetic and solution-focused manner
  • Provide information about facilities, programs, and other services to patients, families, and visitors
  • Access and respond to e-mails in a timely and professional manner
  • Scan and maintain documents, ensuring accurate and secure storage
  • Perform electronic data entry, assist in the preparation of correspondence, and maintain data and correspondence
  • Prepare materials, agenda, notes, and handouts for meetings and events
  • Perform other duties as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment

Education/Experience Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 0-1 years of related experience in a healthcare or administrative setting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and software, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
