Job Summary
As an Experienced Full Stack Software Engineer – Distributed Systems Development at arenaflex, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable and highly available distributed systems that support our business operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business needs, architect solutions, and implement features that meet our high standards of quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop scalable and highly available distributed systems that meet business requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and architect solutions
- Implement features and functionalities that meet our high standards of quality and performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to distributed systems and infrastructure
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
- Contribute to the growth and development of our team by sharing knowledge and expertise
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and improvement
Focus Areas
* Database Access Stage: We are seeking a talented engineer to join our Database Access Stage team, which builds and maintains an adaptable query interface that works with data reflections to achieve sub-millisecond latencies while allowing Netflix microservices to more easily store, consume, and manage their data.
- Data Stage Foundation: Our Data Stage Foundation team serves as a platform for our own data platforms. Our common framework and tooling enable Netflix to rapidly enhance on providing cutting-edge data and analytics platforms to the rest of the organization without building customized platforms for each new framework.
- Big Data Figure: We are responsible for providing the cloud-native stage for distributed data processing at Netflix. This team is critical to batch data processing in Data Stage and offers support for Flash, to ETL data into the Petabytes-scale data warehouse and access that data using Flash and Voila/TrinoDB.
- Big Data Arrangement: Our Big Data Arrangement team offers the stage for planning, organizing, and executing large data jobs and workflows in a self-serve way. These stages include basic services that have all ETL and ML responsibilities running on Big Data Frameworks at Netflix.
Requirements
* 2+ years of experience in building large-scale distributed systems features or applications
- Proficiency in the design and development of soothing web services
- Experience in building and working with adaptable, fault-tolerant, distributed systems
- Knowledge of Java or other object-oriented programming languages
- Multi-threading is a challenge that you are open to handling
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
