Our client, a prominent entity in the aviation sector, is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Remote Aviation Safety Analyst to join their globally distributed team. This position is entirely remote, allowing you to contribute to aviation safety initiatives from anywhere in the United States. The Aviation Safety Analyst will be responsible for analyzing aviation safety data, identifying trends, and developing recommendations to mitigate risks and enhance safety performance across various aviation operations. You will conduct in-depth investigations of incidents and accidents, prepare comprehensive reports, and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences. Key responsibilities include monitoring safety management systems (SMS), conducting risk assessments, and contributing to the development and continuous improvement of safety policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will possess a profound understanding of aviation regulations, safety protocols, and human factors in aviation. Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills are paramount. You must be capable of working autonomously, managing complex projects, and communicating findings effectively through written reports and virtual presentations. We are seeking a meticulous and proactive individual dedicated to promoting a culture of safety within the aviation industry. A Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Aerospace Engineering, Safety Science, or a related field is required. A Master's degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., Certified Aviation Safety Officer - CASO) is highly preferred. A minimum of 5 years of experience in aviation safety analysis, risk management, or a related role within the aviation industry is essential. Proven experience with safety data analysis tools and methodologies. Strong knowledge of ICAO, FAA, and EASA regulations and standards. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise safety reports and recommendations. Ability to conduct thorough investigations and develop actionable safety improvement plans. Proficient in statistical analysis and data visualization. Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment. A strong commitment to aviation safety and continuous improvement.
