Conflicts Attorney - Remote

DescriptionRobert Half is searching for a Licensed Attorney with direct Conflicts Checks experience to assist an AmLaw100 Firm on a project-basis!This position is Monday through FridayKey Duties

• Negotiate between firm lawyers in resolving disputes over conflicts and waivers
• Resolves conflict of interest issues (to include obtaining necessary waivers and drafting ethics wall memos) related to the firm’s clearance of new clients, new matters and lateral attorneys
• Analyzes information provided with new matter requests for compliance with firm policies and applicable rules of professional responsibility, and reviews and edits draft engagement letters for compliance with same
• Reviews client outside counsel guidelines and assists with assessment of firm’s ability to comply

RequirementsRequirements:

• Actively licensed as an attorney in good standing in the same residing state
• High attention to detail and organization skills
• Candidates with previous experience as a Conflicts Analyst and/or supporting the Conflicts Department of a law firm are encouraged to apply
