What you will do Abnormal AI is looking for a driven and growth-oriented backend software engineer to join the Email Productivity team. The team builds and supports Abnormal’s Email Productivity product, an important service that helps our customers manage email more efficiently. As a member of the team, you will contribute to developing new features, improving system reliability, and supporting the ongoing success of the product. You’ll have the opportunity to work on backend systems, learn best practices from experienced engineers, and help solve technical challenges related to high-volume email processing. We’re looking for candidates who are eager to learn, excited to work collaboratively, and interested in working on high-scale, high-impact products. Must Haves BS degree in Computer Science, Applied Sciences, Information Systems or other related engineering field 1+ years of industry experience on backend development & distributed systems, designing & building software applications Experience working individually as well as in groups on a regular basis Experience working with distributed teams, proficient in asynchronous and written communication Experience building features & components from scratch and operating them, balancing feature development work with operational tasks Nice to Haves Experience with our stack: Python, Go, AWS, K8s, Django, Spark, Prometheus 1+ years of experience programming in Golang Familiarity with AWS services and deployment practices.
