Brown & Brown is seeking Qlik Developer Leader to join our growing team! The Qlik Developer Leader leads the strategy, development, and governance of the Qlik platform by overseeing data modeling, application development, and visualization standards, translating business needs into scalable BI solutions, driving platform modernization, ensuring data integrity and compliance, and mentoring teams while delivering high-quality, user-focused reporting and analytics. How You Will Contribute: Ownership of team Qlik platform strategy, data modeling, scripting, and visualization standards. Develop and maintain Qlik applications, including data modeling, web/database integrations, and NPrinting. Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards. Establish frameworks and patterns for delivering business intelligence and reporting. Ensures alignment with enterprise data governance and IT controls Drives platform modernization for improved performance and user experience. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data visualization and reporting. Conduct quality assurance reviews, documentation, and system deployment. Prioritizes work across multiple initiative and stakeholders Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver effective solutions. Provide timely and clear communication to business owners and users regarding issue status and resolution. Interface confidently with non-technical personnel via email, chat, phone, and in-person meetings. Interface confidently with non-technical personnel via email, chat, phone, and in-person meetings. Leads and mentors Qlik developers, including code reviews, best practices, and upskilling. Mentor team members on best practices and Qlik tool usage. Contribute to special projects and initiatives as needed. Skills & Experience to be Successful: Expertise in QlikSense development, including data modeling and NPrinting. Advanced proficiency in SQL (stored procedures, functions, triggers, query optimization). Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. Minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Experience in the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance industry. (preferred) Familiarity with JIRA and/or Azure DevOps. (preferred) Knowledge of ETL tools (Azure Data Factory, SSIS). (preferred) Exposure to AI tools and emerging technologies. (preferred) Proficiency in Microsoft Office products. (preferred) Pay Range $160k - $180k Annual The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
