Virtual Functional Medicine Physician (DCs)

As the largest evidence-based holistic medicine practice in the Midwest, we operate 16 clinics across Chicago with a rapidly expanding telehealth practice that will be serving patients nationwide in 2026. Our collaborative team of over 100 doctors, nurse practitioners, and clinicians provides personalized care for men, women and children across functional medicine, hormone health/BHRT, clinical nutrition, chiropractic care, rehabilitation and massage therapy, and acupuncture. Using advanced diagnostics, expert-led care and individualized treatments we go beyond symptom relief to target the root causes of nagging symptoms and chronic conditions. We are seeking outstanding physicians to join our functional medicine team. We are looking to build up our local teams in Chicago and virtually!! We provide outstanding patient care combined with best-in-class customer experience. We are looking for licensed DCs from various states who want to be part of a dynamic and rapidly growing company and thrive in an entrepreneurial environment. The compensation range is $75,000-$200,000 per year, depending on experience and includes base salary and revenue share/bonus opportunity. Many of our current functional medicine providers have done extended work/training in the following: American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M), American College of Lifestyle Medicine (ACLM), Institute of Functional Medicine (IFM), Diplomate of the American Board of Chiropractic Internists (DABCI), Diplomate of the American Clinical Board of Nutrition (DACBN), Functional Medicine University (FMU), and the College of Integrative Medicine (CIM) and take a data-driven approach to patient care. We manage staffing, practice management, billing and reimbursement and provide all equipment. We have a robust marketing team, and your occasional participation in marketing content creation and events is required. Job Responsibilities: Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests Develop personalized treatment plans based on patients' needs and medical conditions Prescribe nutraceuticals and/or medications and monitor their effectiveness Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care Provide counseling and education to patients on disease prevention and healthy lifestyle choices Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic health record systems Stay current with medical advancements, research, and clinical trials in the fields of functional, integrative and lifestyle medicine Requirements: At least two years of experience practicing functional medicine and performing functional medicine specialty testing/labs Experience in functional and integrative medicine settings preferred Must have (or be able to obtain) an IL license and any remote location determined Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate and interact effectively with patients and other providers Energetic and outgoing personality with a desire to help people Patient first attitude and ability to consistently provide a 5-star level of service Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality We offer competitive full-time employee benefits, including: · Blue Cross Blue Shield medical plans, as well as dental and vision insurance · Guaranteed paid time off · Malpractice insurance coverage · Reimbursement for outside CEUs/CMEs · Eligibility for short-term disability insurance and 401(k) · Unlimited opportunity to grow with one of Chicago’s most exciting and fastest growing health and wellness companies Licensing Requirements: Active Illinois Chiropractic license required to start employment Aligned Modern Health is an equal opportunity employer.
