Data Owner & Engineer - CRM & Marketing

We’re looking for a Data Engineer & Owner – CRM & Marketing to join Telia. We are seeking a data engineer who can bridge data and business to strengthen our Commercial Development organization. You will be part of a high-impact analytics team working with customer-centric, data-driven initiatives to drive growth in the consumer market. What you’ll do: Own and structure the marketing data domain (customer profiles, lifecycle stages, campaign interactions) Build and maintain reliable data pipelines that enable activation and personalization Ensure segments, triggers, and audiences are accurate and available for CRM use cases Work closely with CRM and marketing teams to translate business needs into data solutions Enable measurement of campaigns and customer journeys (e.g., A/B testing, control groups, attribution) Identify and drive improvements in data models, pipelines, and martech setup What will help you succeed: 3+ years experience in data or martech engineering, ideally in a CRM/marketing context Strong SQL skills and solid experience with Python. Ability to learn niche tools like Dataiku quickly. Experience with modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, dbt) Experience working with complex datasets and data models across multiple systems Understanding of customer journeys, campaigns, and personalization Strong analytical mindset and experience working with performance measurement Stakeholder Management: Strong communication skills and the ability to bridge the gap between commercial objectives and technical solutions, making complex concepts easy to understand. Greenfield Mindset: Comfortable building documentation, naming conventions, and "ways of working" for a marketing domain from scratch.
