Job Responsibilities
As an Experienced Data Entry Specialist – Virtual Pharmacy Support Role, you will be responsible for:
- Accurately and efficiently entering patient data into our computer system, including medication orders, dosages, and payment information
- Verifying patient information and medication orders to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Communicating with patients, physicians, and insurance companies to resolve any discrepancies or issues
- Maintaining a high level of productivity and accuracy in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborating with our team to ensure seamless communication and workflow
- Participating in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on industry best practices and arenaflex's policies and procedures
Requirements
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- 6 months of experience working in a pharmacy or healthcare setting
- 6 months of experience with Windows-Based applications, including Microsoft Office and email
- Strong keyboarding skills and ability to sit or stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information
Preferred Qualifications
* 1 year of experience working as a pharmacy technician
- 3 months of experience handling and resolving customer complaints via phone
- Experience with medical billing, coding, and other clinical support roles
- Strong customer service skills and experience working in an office environment
- 1 year of professional work experience, including inbound and outbound customer service
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
