Motor Winder 2nd Shift Posting Start Date: 4/13/26 Job Location (Short): Longview, Texas, USA, 75603 Requisition ID: 35110 Onsite or Remote: Onsite Position Join Komatsu and Be Part of Something Big! Job Overview Motor Winder needed at our Longview Texas Manufacturing Facility. This job position is responsible for installing coils into AC, DC, and SR stator frames, making lead connections, and performing voltage testing on the stator windings. Komatsu offers competitive salaries, excellent benefits and annual merit/bonus potential. Key Job Responsibilities Work safe and be an advocate for safety.

  • Able to follow instructions and repeat basic procedures of the motor winder position.
  • Cleans and maintains equipment, tooling, and work area.
  • Properly insulate frames as required during the winding process.
  • Make accurate connections using solder and brazing processes.
  • Able to test stator windings at high voltage.
  • Document all information needed for traceability.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • 2 years of experience or equivalent knowledge of motor/stator winding duties.
  • Ability to perform basic math functions. (Addition, subtraction, multiplication, division.)
  • Ability to operate a forklift, overhead crane, and other equipment as needed.
  • Ability to work independently, holding close tolerances, minimizing scrap all within standard routing hours.
  • Strong blue-print reading skills.
  • Knowledge of various hand tools and their uses.
  • Must successfully pass background check, pre-employment physical drug screening.
  • Must be able to work overtime, and weekends as required.
