Description Job Summary: The HR Generalist performs human resources related duties at the professional level and may carry out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: recruiting, payroll, leave administration, onboarding, offboarding, benefits, employee relations, employee engagement, performance management, policy and regulatory compliance, etc. Role and Responsibilities: Provide day-to-day support of HR function Manage onboarding and offboarding lifecycle tasks Maintain HR recordkeeping, including employee files - ensuring accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality of information. Assist in processing company payrolls. Aid in recruitment function for corporate and temporary staffing roles. Participate in management of leave administration. Document best practices, processes, and project artifacts for future business use. Effectively answer HR queries by management and employees, including maintenance of HR inbox. Contribute to HR team initiatives. Actively seek to gain new skills and stretch opportunities to grow within role.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business or human resources 3+ years of experience in a Human Resources generalist capacity HRIS/Payroll knowledge, preferably Paylocity Success in Remote work environment U.S. Multi-state employer experience Builds Effective Relationships Ability to handle confidential information Effectively leads projects to completion Excellent verbal and written communications skills Ability to take direction and work/act independently with solid judgement Excellent accuracy and attention to detail Understanding of federal, state, and local jurisdictional employment laws Preferred Requirements: Professional Certification in Human Resources Payroll and Recruiting experience International business and human resources familiarity Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
