Application Specialist (Healthcare IT)

The Application Specialist is a remote technical engineering role in favor of our client Samir Group - KSA onsite based dedicated to ensuring the stability, efficiency, and continuous improvement of healthcare IT systems. The primary purpose of this position is to provide comprehensive first- and second-line remote support for department-provided applications, manage critical customer relationships through effective communication, and maintain the integrity of IT environments. The role ensures seamless digital operations by aligning technical troubleshooting with evolving business needs and strict service level agreements.

Key Responsibilities

Provide first- and second-line technical support for healthcare IT and imaging systems. Troubleshoot and resolve application, system, and integration issues. Manage support and implementation tickets within agreed SLAs. Monitor system performance and server health to ensure operational stability. Perform front-end and back-end troubleshooting, including configuration and service-related issues. Support software installations, upgrades, patches, and deployments. Assist end-users and ensure timely resolution of technical incidents. Document technical issues, root causes, and solutions. Prepare regular reports on support activities and issue resolution. Escalate critical issues and risks when required. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. 2–5 years of experience in Application Support, Technical Support, Healthcare IT, or a related role. Experience with Healthcare IT systems or Dental Systems is highly preferred. Residence nearby Heliopolis Technical Requirements Knowledge of healthcare IT systems and imaging solutions. Understanding of networking, servers, and IT infrastructure. Experience troubleshooting software, hardware, and connectivity issues. Familiarity with SQL and database concepts. Basic knowledge of HL7 and FHIR integrations. Understanding of DICOM protocols and medical imaging workflows. Language Requirement Fluent English (spoken and written) – Required. Apply To This Job
