Senior Technical Business Analyst

Overview

Seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst to lead complex initiatives that bridge business needs and technical solutions. This role requires strong experience with enterprise systems, particularly ServiceNow Nuvolo, along with a solid understanding of asset management, maintenance management, and supply chain operations. Experience supporting or working within the Department of Veterans Affairs environment is highly preferred. Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements. Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications for development teams. Lead process improvement initiatives across asset management, maintenance management, and supply chain systems. Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and requirements validation sessions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, operations, and vendors. Partner closely with product development teams to refine requirements, support solution design, and align deliverables with business objectives. Work with application testing teams to validate requirements, review test cases, and support defect triage and resolution. Ensure compliance with applicable VA standards, policies, and regulatory requirements. Support system integration and implementation efforts across enterprise platforms. Develop test plans, coordinate user acceptance testing, and support successful solution implementation. Provide ongoing support, documentation, and end-user training. Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 5+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst or in a similar role. Hands-on experience with the ServiceNow Nuvolo application. Strong knowledge of asset management and/or maintenance management systems. Experience working with supply chain systems and processes. Familiarity with Department of Veterans Affairs systems, processes, or projects. Experience working within Agile SAFe environments. Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience with system integrations and data analysis. Preferred QualificationsExperience in healthcare or government environments. Knowledge of ITIL or similar frameworks. Experience with Agile or hybrid project methodologies. Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement certification preferred. Agile SAFe certification preferred. Experience using Jira for backlog management, tracking, and reporting. Technical background with APIs, data mapping, or system architecture.
