Senior Data Engineer (MSBI) Must-Have Skills (Core 4) 1. Strong SQL / T-SQL
- Advanced querying, performance tuning, stored procedures, indexing
- Hands-on with SSMS and complex data transformations
2. SSIS (ETL Development)
- Designing and developing ETL pipelines using SSIS
- Handling data migration, transformation, and scheduling jobs
3. Data Warehousing Concepts
- Strong understanding of star/snowflake schema
- Experience in designing fact/dimension models and data marts
4. SSRS / Reporting
- Developing and maintaining reports using SSRS
- Exposure to report optimization and parameterisation
Nice-to-Have
Skills (Add-ons 4) 1. SSAS / OLAP Cubes
- Experience with multidimensional/tabular models
2. Power BI / Visualisation
- Dashboard development, DAX basics, data modelling
3. Performance Tuning & Optimisation
- Query tuning, ETL performance improvement, indexing strategies

- Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Synapse or similar platforms
