JOB DUTIES: Design and implement n-tiered applications that meet reliability, scalability, TCO, and supportability requirements. Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex systems and solutions using digital-native cloud technologies. Support an Agile Product Development team to deliver high-quality technology solutions built with cloud-native technologies and modern methods. Ensure quality in all aspects of software engineering, including continuous integration, code quality, test-driven development, and adherence to target architecture. Design and develop core services and components according to service-oriented, event-driven, and microservices architecture. Implement Enterprise Technology reference architectures, design patterns, and coding best practices. Collaborate with Development, Architecture, and Support teams to design and maintain various platforms and their integration with other systems. Recommend opportunities for application and process improvements and prepare documentation outlining the platform roadmap. Maintain, troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing systems. Work collaboratively with QA and DevOps teams to adopt CI/CD toolchain and develop automation. Assist in the technical assessment of risks and issues, and document recommendations. Communicate regularly with technical and non-technical groups as part of product/project support. 100% Telecommuting permitted. REQUIREMENTS: MINIMUM Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as a Full Stack Developer, Software Architect, DevOps Engineer or a closely related occupation. ALTERNATIVELY: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or as a Full Stack Developer, Software Architect, DevOps Engineer or a closely related occupation. Applicants must possess demonstrated expertise with the following: Demonstrated Expertise (DE) developing full stack applications using .NET/.NET Core technologies. DE utilizing JavaScript frameworks for design and development of modular, maintainable, and efficient UI components. DE developing dynamic data binding and component-driven architecture using Angular. DE creating responsive and accessible designs using Bootstrap. DE writing and reviewing SQL server procedures, views, and functions. DE designing and developing applications, web services (REST/SOAP), and integrating with vendor APIs.
