Graphic Designer: T-Shirts & Apparel (Mid-Entry Level)

We’re looking for an mid-entry level graphic designer to help with production and execution work for our t-shirt and apparel brands. This role is ideal for someone early in their design career who is fast, detail-oriented, and comfortable working within established design systems. Most concepts and creative direction will be provided, your job is to execute efficiently. You’ll be working closely with our art director and company founder, with clearly defined processes, templates, and specs. What You’ll Be Doing -Executing apparel designs from provided concepts and rough layouts -Cleaning up Illustrator files (alignment, spacing, consistency, polish) -Updating text elements and typeface selection -Making light design tweaks and improvements when appropriate -Redrawing from reference artwork (including AI-generated, public domain, and purchased stock graphics) into clean, print-ready designs. -Preparing print-ready files according to our specs -Creating finished product mockups and garment color selections using our existing templates -Working through batch-style production tasks (one design converted into many variations) Some tasks are creative, others are more repetitive. You should be comfortable getting into a focused, production flow. Required Skills -Adobe Illustrator (strong working knowledge) -Adobe Photoshop -Basic illustration ability (enough to redraw reference artwork) -Experience with a drawing tablet, Wacom, or iPad + stylus -Strong attention to detail, consist work output, and technical savviness -Ability to follow systems, templates, and specs accurately Nice to Have (Strong Plus) -Any experience with t-shirt or apparel design -Familiarity with print-ready files for apparel -Comfort working with flat vector graphics and limited color palettes Interest or familiarity with: -Pop culture, movies, entertainment, or fan art -Outdoors, travel, national parks, or place-based design -Sports or sports-adjacent design You don’t need a fully developed personal style. This role is about executing within existing brand styles. Work Details -16 hours per week to start -Initial commitment of 4 weeks -Very strong potential to extend and/or increase hours -Hourly contract -Fully remote, on your schedule -Communication via Slack -Check-ins/deadlines happen by project phase, not constant meetings Must include portfolio link or work examples for consideration.
