Program Analyst 1
The North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services is seeking a Program Analyst 1 to join their Organizational Development Division. In this role, you will apply your statistical and analytical skills to support program development and improvement across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the knowledge management system by organizing documentation, creating metadata fields, and supporting data searches
- Review literature, analyze documents, and study best practices for project work
- Help conduct analytic tasks, support special projects, and identify ways to improve efficiency
- Assist in analyzing information and coordinating efforts for change management initiatives
- Prepare tables, charts, graphs, and reports that support the work of division leadership
- Help create or update manuals, forms, flow charts, and planning documents
Skills
- One year of paraprofessional analytical experience; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training
- You must meet the PA residency requirement
- You must be able to perform essential job functions
- You must pass a background investigation
- An applicant with a felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment is not permitted to work for the PLCB, per section 210(c) of the Pennsylvania Liquor Code
- Other criminal convictions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis

- Telework:You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 4 days per week. You will be required to report in-office one day per week to the Northwest Office Building in Harrisburg. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
