Payroll Administrator 1 - (Hybrid)

The Wine Group is a leading producer of award-winning wines and alcoholic beverages across 120+ brands. The Payroll Administrator 1 is responsible for supporting the accurate and timely payroll for employees, maintaining payroll records, and serving as a point of contact for payroll-related inquiries.

Responsibilities

  • Verify timesheets and calculate gross to net pay
  • Maintain and update payroll records including new hires, terminations, pay rate changes, and benefit deductions
  • Ensure compliance with applicable wage and hour laws, including overtime and minimum wage requirements
  • Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll, taxes, and timekeeping
  • Reconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee records and payroll information
  • Ensure compliance across multiple Union contracts and AG Wage Order contracts
  • Ensure garnishment compliance
  • Maintain check registers and positive pay files for accuracy

  • 1+ years' experience in payroll, accounting, or related field is preferred including multistate and multi-pay group payrolls
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and knowledge of Dayforce HCM (Human Capital Management) system preferred
