About the Customer Service Representative Position

We're seeking a compassionate and skilled Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic remote team based in Florida. Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by resolving inquiries and issues through phone calls and written communications from members, providers, and plan sponsors
  • Conduct thorough claims research across multiple platforms to assist providers with payment questions and claim status updates
  • Triage and redirect complex issues to appropriate team members, ensuring seamless resolution for all stakeholders
  • Provide comprehensive information to address both expressed and unasked questions, including plan details, benefit options, and member self-service tools
  • Apply customer service frameworks to make informed financial decisions while resolving member issues
  • Clearly explain member rights and responsibilities in accordance with contractual agreements
  • Process various healthcare transactions including claim referrals, new claim handoffs, nurse reviews, complaints, and appeals
  • Educate healthcare providers on available self-service options and assist with credentialing, re-credentialing, and contracting inquiries
  • Contribute to claim data compilation for customer audits and verify member plan eligibility
  • Determine medical necessity and assess coverage provisions for incoming correspondence and internal referrals

Qualifications & Requirements

Essential Qualifications

  • Must reside in the state of Florida full-time
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Minimum of one year experience in a highly transactional call center environment
  • Proven record of excellent customer service skills with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and decision-making capabilities
  • Exceptional communication skills with ability to convey complex information clearly
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote setting
  • High-speed internet connection (25 mbps or higher) with consistent performance
  • Work location must be set up with a direct Ethernet connection to the router (not Wi-Fi)

Training & Schedule

Joining arenaflex includes comprehensive training to set you up for success. This position requires participation in a 4-week virtual training program conducted Monday through Friday between 8 AM and 5 PM EST. Our training is designed to provide you with all the knowledge and resources needed to excel in your role.

Upon completion of training, you'll transition to your permanent schedule, which operates Monday through Friday with hours beginning as early as 8 AM EST and ending as late as 7 PM EST. While the core hours are fixed, we offer some flexibility within this timeframe to accommodate different working preferences and peak demand periods.
