Why This Role Matters

As a Senior Analyst in the Worldwide Funding group, you will be at the heart of arenaflex’s consumer financing ecosystem. You’ll drive the end‑to‑end execution of our buyer funding products, ensuring seamless installment experiences for customers across North America and Europe. Your analytical insight and operational expertise will directly influence acquisition, retention, and revenue growth, making a tangible impact on the company’s bottom line.

Role Overview

This remote, full‑time position is based in Boston, USA, and offers a competitive hourly rate of $20‑$30. You will collaborate with cross‑functional partners—including Finance, Risk, Customer Service, and Product & Engineering—to deliver flawless funding program operations, identify improvement opportunities, and champion data‑driven decision‑making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program Execution & Optimization: Own the daily operations of arenaflex’s financing programs, handling installment processing, payment reconciliation, and exception management.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with Finance, Risk, Customer Service, and Product teams to align on goals, resolve issues, and launch new initiatives.
  • Data Analysis & Insight Generation: Analyze program performance, detect trends, and surface actionable insights that drive product enhancements and operational efficiencies.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Build strong relationships with external partners (e.g., payment processors, fintech vendors) to expand business opportunities and improve the customer experience.
  • Project Leadership: Lead cross‑functional projects that improve the funding journey, ensuring deliverables are on time, high‑quality, and meet key performance indicators.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay current on industry best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging fintech trends to inform strategic decisions.
  • Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve complex operational challenges, escalating when necessary while maintaining a “finish‑it” mindset.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Produce clear, concise reports for senior leadership, highlighting program health, risk factors, and growth opportunities.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in marketing, consulting, business operations, startup/tech, or finance.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives from complex data sets.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams to achieve results.
  • Excellent analytical and critical‑thinking abilities; experience building models based on data‑driven insights.
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and adapting quickly to changing priorities.
  • Proven track record of making decisions based on incomplete data and recommending actionable solutions.
  • Self‑starter attitude with a “finish‑it” mindset—able to drive projects to completion independently.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) or similar analytical platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with consumer financing products, installment plans, or credit risk assessment.
  • Familiarity with fintech ecosystems, payment gateways, and regulatory compliance (e.g., PCI DSS, GDPR).
  • Advanced degree (MBA, Master’s in Data Analytics) or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CFE).
  • Hands‑on experience with statistical programming languages such as Python or R.
  • Previous work in a remote or distributed team environment.

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Analytical Acumen: Ability to dissect large data sets, identify patterns, and translate findings into strategic recommendations.
  • Problem‑Solving: Strong logical reasoning and the capacity to develop innovative solutions for complex operational challenges.
  • Communication: Clear, concise storytelling that resonates with technical and non‑technical audiences alike.
  • Collaboration: Proven ability to build trust and influence across diverse functional groups.
  • Project Management: Organized, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced Excel, SQL, and familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools.
