Shopify Developer – Luxury Watch & Gold Cuban Chain Website Improvements

Job Description

We are a luxury jewelry and watch business located in the NYC Diamond District. Our Shopify website is connected to our inventory system (The Edge – Abbott Jewelry Systems). We are looking for an experienced Shopify developer to help restructure parts of the website and implement a dynamic pricing feature for certain products. This project includes homepage improvements, product page updates, and integration of live gold pricing for specific jewelry items. Project Scope Homepage Improvements Reorganize the homepage layout to clearly feature our two main product categories

  • Pre-Owned Luxury Watches
  • Solid Miami Cuban Chains The homepage should include
  • hero section with call-to-action buttons
  • featured luxury watch grid
  • Cuban chain section
  • links to our sell gold and sell Rolex pages
  • trust section
  • custom jewelry section Cuban Chain Pricing System Implement a dynamic pricing system for Solid Miami Cuban Chains (SKU 430) Solid Miami Cuban Bracelets (SKU 441) The system should
  • pull live gold price from an API (GoldAPI, Metals-API, or Kitco)
  • refresh the price every 10 minutes
  • calculate gram prices for 10k, 14k, and 18k gold
  • update product prices automatically based on product weight Product weight is synced from our inventory system (The Edge). Product Price Logic Final prices must always round up to the nearest $10. Example $13,841 → $13,850 Watch Product Page Improvements Improve watch product pages by adding structured sections for

  • text to buy
  • schedule appointment Purchase Logic for Watches Checkout behavior should depend on the watch price Under $10k → normal checkout $10k–$20k → allow reservation with $1,000 deposit Over $20k → disable checkout and show contact options Inventory Integration The site is already connected to The Edge – Abbott Jewelry Systems. Ensure product weight and inventory sync continue to work correctly. Developer Requirements
