Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first line of contact for cargo customers via phone, email, and chat, delivering prompt and professional assistance.
  • Coordinate with internal operations teams, ground handlers, and flight crews to resolve shipment issues, schedule pickups, and confirm delivery times.
  • Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions in arenaflex’s CRM system, ensuring data integrity and compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Monitor freight status dashboards, proactively identifying potential delays and communicating mitigation plans to customers.
  • Assist customers with documentation requirements, customs clearance queries, and special handling instructions for hazardous or perishable goods.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior supervisors while providing clear, concise summaries of the situation and recommended actions.
  • Participate in regular training sessions to stay current on arenaflex’s cargo policies, industry regulations, and emerging technology tools.
  • Contribute ideas for process improvements that enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and elevate the overall customer experience.
  • Adhere to safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling physical cargo or visiting warehouse sites.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1‑2 years in a customer service or client‑facing role, preferably within transportation, logistics, or a fast‑paced service environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with standard office software (Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace) and comfort navigating web‑based CRM platforms.
  • Physical Ability: Capability to lift and move items up to 50 lb when required, and to stand for short periods during warehouse visits.
