As a member of the OPR Examination Group, you will be at the heart of arenaflex’s data ecosystem. This team transforms raw data from millions of merchant partners into a clean, reliable, and strategic asset that guides the company’s Global Operations and Store Network. Your work will directly influence how arenaflex optimizes fulfillment, inventory, pricing, and customer satisfaction across every market we serve.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Modeling & Analysis: Build robust statistical and logical models that uncover hidden patterns, drive cross‑functional initiatives, and support data‑driven decision making.
  • Collaboration with Engineering Teams: Partner closely with Data Architecture, Data Visualization, and Product Engineering to ensure seamless rollout of data solutions that meet stakeholder needs.
  • Data Science & Analytics: Apply data‑science techniques and analytical methods to solve complex business problems, from forecasting demand to optimizing supply‑chain efficiency.
  • Business Insight Delivery: Serve as the subject‑matter expert for data, analysis, and insight within the Global Operations & Store Network, translating core business metrics and customer behavior into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Process Improvement: Support large‑scale improvement initiatives across multiple partners, driving efficiency and visibility throughout the store network for our merchant partners.
  • Performance Monitoring: Dissect key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify root causes of performance gaps and recommend data‑backed solutions.
  • Executive Communication: Consistently present performance trends, insights, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Essential Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Engineering, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • 2+ years of experience in a quantitative, business intelligence, data science, or analytics role.
  • Hands‑on experience conducting quantitative analyses on large data sets; proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) and at least one programming language such as Python or R.
  • Strong SQL skills (T‑SQL, Google BigQuery, Vertica, including complex joins, sub‑queries, and performance tuning).
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, Data Studio, or similar) – at least one is required.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Organized, collaborative, and inquisitive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to convey technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time and driving measurable business outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in a quantitative field.
  • Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and modern data pipelines.
  • Knowledge of machine‑learning frameworks (scikit‑learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) for predictive modeling.
  • Background in e‑commerce, retail, or supply‑chain analytics.
  • Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
