About arenaflex

arenaflex is a leading health‑focused organization that partners with insurers, providers, and technology innovators to deliver seamless, data‑driven solutions across the United States. Our mission is to ensure that every member receives the right care at the right time, and we achieve this by maintaining the highest standards of data integrity, compliance, and customer service. As a remote‑first employer, arenaflex empowers its workforce with flexible schedules, cutting‑edge collaboration tools, and a culture that celebrates curiosity, continuous learning, and community impact.

Why This Role Matters

In the fast‑moving world of health insurance, accurate eligibility information is the backbone of every claim, benefit, and member interaction. As a Remote Data Entry Analyst, you will be the guardian of that data, ensuring that the information flowing through arenaflex’s adjudication system aligns perfectly with enrollment records. Your work will directly influence the speed and accuracy of member services, reduce costly errors, and support compliance with federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed investigations of eligibility discrepancies between the adjudication system and enrollment packages.
  • Access, review, and correct records in multiple internal databases, ensuring data consistency and compliance.
  • Manage shared mailboxes and work queues, responding to internal and external inquiries from various departments.
  • Identify, document, and resolve errors identified in reports, dashboards, and audit findings.
  • Reconcile eligibility data across systems, performing root‑cause analysis and recommending process improvements.
  • Maintain meticulous audit trails for all changes, supporting internal controls and external regulatory reviews.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including claims, member services, IT, and compliance—to develop sustainable solutions to recurring data issues.
  • Participate in regular data‑quality meetings, providing insights and status updates on open tickets and backlog reduction.
  • Contribute to the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and knowledge‑base articles for future reference.
  • Continuously stay informed about industry regulations, privacy standards, and best practices related to health‑care data management.

Essential Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in data analysis, record review, or a similar role within the health‑care industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with large data sets, identify inconsistencies, and apply corrective actions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) and Access for data manipulation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical findings to non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem‑solving aptitude, attention to detail, and a methodical approach to documentation.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in data management or health‑care administration are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in health‑care eligibility verification, claims processing, or enrollment administration.
  • Familiarity with health‑care regulatory frameworks such as HIPAA, HEDIS, and ACA compliance.
