Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and technically accomplished Web3 Customer Engineer to join our growing cloud solutions team. This is a unique opportunity for someone who lives at the crossroads of cloud architecture, blockchain protocols, and customer-facing technical strategy. You will partner directly with Web3 founders, CTOs, and engineering leaders to help them harness arenaflex's flexible, secure, and high-performance cloud infrastructure to power their decentralized applications, smart contracts, validator nodes, and Layer 1 and Layer 2 ecosystems.

If you are passionate about the decentralized web, understand the nuances between EVM-compatible chains, Solana, Rust, and Cosmos/Tendermint-based architectures, and love translating technical complexity into clear business value, this role offers the perfect platform to make an outsized impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the Web3 incubation team to identify, qualify, and develop high-value business opportunities, deeply understanding customer technical requirements, objections, and architectural challenges.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to resolve technical blockers, accelerate deal velocity, and ensure customer confidence in arenaflex's Web3 capabilities.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on arenaflex's cloud solutions, providing deep technical engagement through product briefings, architectural workshops, proof of concepts, and hands-on implementation support.
  • Build and nurture trusted-advisor relationships with strategic Web3 customers, becoming their go-to resource for cloud strategy, migration planning, and integration design.
  • Recommend migration approaches, integration strategies, and reference architectures that leverage arenaflex's full suite of platform components tailored for decentralized workloads.
  • Partner directly with product management to surface customer-driven insights, helping prioritize roadmap features that will accelerate Web3 customer adoption and satisfaction.
  • Create reusable, production-grade Web3 technical assets, reference architectures, demos, and solution accelerators that showcase the power of arenaflex and complementary partner technologies.
  • Stay ahead of market trends, emerging protocols, tokenomics models, and competitive developments in the Web3 ecosystem, and translate these insights into actionable go-to-market strategies.
  • Represent arenaflex at industry conferences, hackathons, and technical events, serving as a public-facing technical voice for the brand.
  • Travel up to 50% as needed to engage with customers on-site, attend industry events, and build deep in-person relationships with strategic accounts.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience working with multiple public blockchain protocols, including Layer 1 and Layer 2 networks, EVM-compatible chains, Solana/Rust-based ecosystems, and Cosmos/Tendermint-based architectures.
  • Proven experience integrating Web 2.0 systems with Web3 components, including APIs, identity layers, payment rails, and data pipelines.
  • Deep familiarity with commercial system architecture patterns for blockchain-based applications and the broader startup ecosystem.
  • Strong understanding of the Web3 market landscape, including major trends, key players, emerging use cases, and the evolving regulatory and competitive environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with technical and business stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into business-relevant narratives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with private and permissioned blockchain protocols, including Hyperledger Besu, Quorum, Corda, and enterprise-grade DLT frameworks.
  • Full-stack development experience with smart contract and decentralized application (dApp) development using languages such as Solidity, Scilla, Rust, or Move, gained through professional work, hackathons, open-source contributions, or substantial personal projects.
  • Working knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools tailored for blockchain environments, along with blockchain node management, monitoring, and orchestration tooling.
  • Solid grasp of software architecture principles and the design of complex smart contract ecosystems, including upgradeability patterns, proxy architectures, and cross-chain interoperability.
  • Strong understanding of crypto-economics and tokenomics, including token design, incentive mechanisms, governance models, and the financial mechanics of decentralized protocols.
  • Experience working with validator infrastructure, staking mechanisms, or blockchain node operations at scale.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling technical content, whitepapers, and architectural diagrams.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and high-growth environment where priorities can shift quickly and innovation is constant.
