Position Summary

The Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex will be the guardian of our pharmaceutical data ecosystem. You will be responsible for entering, validating, and maintaining critical data that supports research, regulatory compliance, supply chain operations, and commercial activities. Your keen eye for detail, organizational prowess, and proficiency with data‑management tools will directly influence the efficiency of our workflows and the quality of the information that drives strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurate Data Entry: Input, update, and maintain a wide range of pharmaceutical data—including product specifications, batch records, clinical trial results, and inventory details—into arenaflex’s enterprise database systems with zero tolerance for errors.
  • Data Verification & Validation: Cross‑reference source documents, electronic files, and external data sets to confirm completeness and correctness. Conduct routine checks, flag inconsistencies, and collaborate with subject‑matter experts to resolve discrepancies.
  • Quality Control & Continuous Improvement: Participate in the design and execution of data‑quality initiatives, such as duplicate detection, format standardization, and automated validation scripts. Suggest enhancements to existing processes to boost accuracy and speed.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Generate daily, weekly, and monthly data entry logs, error‑tracking reports, and status dashboards for senior management and regulatory auditors.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with research scientists, regulatory affairs, supply chain planners, and IT support teams to ensure seamless data flow across departments.
  • System Maintenance: Assist the IT department in testing new data‑entry modules, performing system upgrades, and troubleshooting technical issues that may affect data integrity.
  • Compliance Adherence: Follow Good Documentation Practices (GDP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and other industry standards to guarantee that all data handling meets regulatory expectations.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of professional experience in data entry, preferably within a regulated environment such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or medical devices.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve 99.9% accuracy rates in high‑volume data entry tasks.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and familiarity with database platforms (e.g., SQL, Oracle, or proprietary arenaflex systems).
  • Strong analytical mindset with the capacity to spot patterns, anomalies, and trends in large data sets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear documentation and effective interaction with cross‑functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Experience with data‑validation tools, scripting languages (Python, VBA), or workflow automation platforms.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as FDA 21 CFR Part 11, EU Annex 11, or ICH guidelines.
  • Certification in Data Management (e.g., DAMA‑CDMP) or Quality Assurance (e.g., CQIA).
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects while meeting strict deadlines.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Core Competencies & Skills

  • Attention to Detail: Unwavering focus on precision, ensuring every data point is entered correctly and verified against source material.
  • Organizational Excellence: Systematic approach to handling large volumes of information, maintaining orderly records, and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Technical Agility: Quick adaptation to new software, data‑entry interfaces, and evolving technology stacks.
  • Problem‑Solving Orientation: Proactive identification of data issues and swift implementation of corrective actions.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work harmoniously with diverse stakeholders, respecting confidentiality and data‑security protocols.
