arenaflex is a global leader in innovative mobility solutions, and our success is powered by the people who drive our vision forward. In the fast‑evolving world of electric transportation, data has become the lifeblood of every strategic decision, especially when it comes to attracting, hiring, and retaining top talent. Our Recruiting Analytics team sits at the intersection of technology, people, and business, turning raw data into actionable insights that shape the future of our workforce. As a remote‑first organization, arenaflex embraces flexibility, diversity, and a culture of continuous learning—making it the perfect place for ambitious entry‑level professionals to launch a rewarding career in data analytics.

Why This Role Matters

In today’s competitive talent market, understanding hiring trends, pipeline health, and candidate experience is critical. As a Remote Data Analyst on the Recruiting Analytics team, you will be the analytical engine that powers strategic decisions across the organization. Your work will directly influence how arenaflex attracts the best engineers, designers, and business leaders, ensuring we stay ahead of the curve in a rapidly changing industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Modeling & Quality Assurance: Design, build, and maintain robust data models that guarantee data integrity, consistency, and accessibility for downstream reporting.
  • Reporting & Visualization: Create intuitive dashboards and visualizations (using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools) that translate complex data sets into clear, actionable insights for non‑technical stakeholders.
  • End‑to‑End Data Pipelines: Collect, cleanse, and transform data from arenaflex’s proprietary applicant tracking system (ATS) and related HR platforms, ensuring seamless integration with downstream analytics tools.
  • Trend Analysis & Forecasting: Analyze hiring trends, time‑to‑fill metrics, source effectiveness, and diversity statistics to identify patterns, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaboration with Engineering Teams: Partner with software engineers to enhance internal data tools, automate data flows, and implement CI/CD pipelines for reliable, repeatable analytics processes.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Present findings and recommendations to recruiting managers, senior leadership, and cross‑functional partners in a clear, business‑focused language.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify inefficiencies in the ATS and suggest enhancements that streamline data capture, reduce manual effort, and improve overall system usability.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong foundation in relational databases with hands‑on experience writing SQL queries; familiarity with at least one modern query language (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, Snowflake).
  • Exposure to recruiting or HR data environments, including an understanding of full‑cycle recruiting metrics (e.g., applicant conversion rates, offer acceptance, source ROI).
  • Experience with data visualization platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker, and the ability to craft compelling, story‑driven dashboards.
  • Basic knowledge of CI/CD concepts and automated testing frameworks, demonstrating a commitment to data reliability and reproducibility.
  • Excellent analytical mindset, critical thinking, and a problem‑solving orientation that thrives in ambiguous, fast‑paced environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical findings into business‑friendly language for diverse audiences.

Preferred Qualifications & Nice‑to‑Have Skills

  • Internship or project experience working with HRIS, ATS, or talent acquisition platforms (e.g., Greenhouse, Lever, Workday).
  • Familiarity with Python or R for data manipulation, statistical analysis, or building predictive models.
  • Experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g., AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery) and data orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt).
  • Understanding of data governance, privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA), and best practices for handling personally identifiable information (PII) in HR datasets.
  • Passion for the mobility industry, sustainability, and the mission of accelerating the world’s transition to clean transportation.

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Analytical Rigor: Ability to dive deep into data, spot anomalies, and derive meaningful insights that drive business outcomes.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong SQL skills, familiarity with data modeling concepts, and comfort with visualization tools.
  • Collaboration: Works effectively with cross‑functional teams, including recruiters, engineers, product managers, and senior leadership.
  • Communication: Translates complex data findings into clear, concise narratives for non‑technical audiences.
  • Adaptability: Thrives in a remote‑first environment, managing priorities independently while staying aligned with team goals.
  • Continuous Learning: Eager to stay current with emerging analytics technologies, industry trends, and best practices.
