Position Overview – Senior Data Engineer (Remote)

arenaflex is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain cutting‑edge data platforms that support our content, advertising, and subscriber analytics. Key Responsibilities

• Data Platform Architecture: Lead the design and implementation of robust data products and data warehouses focused on content performance, ad effectiveness, and subscriber behavior.

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience designing and operating large‑scale data platforms.
• Strong SQL proficiency with the ability to craft complex queries for data extraction and transformation.
• Deep experience with Hadoop ecosystem tools (HDFS, Hive, Impala, PySpark) and cloud data services (AWS S3, EMR, EC2).
• Proven track record building and managing MPP or cloud data warehouse solutions such as Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.
