Our mission is to provide accessible, high‑quality pharmacy care, innovative health solutions, and compassionate customer service. As a remote employee of arenaflex, you will become part of a dynamic team that values integrity, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Position Overview

arenaflex is seeking a motivated, detail‑oriented Remote Call Center Representative to join our growing pharmacy data‑entry team. In this role, you will be the frontline liaison between patients, prescribers, and our pharmacy specialists, ensuring accurate capture of medication information, enrollment data, and patient inquiries while adhering to HIPAA and state regulations. This full‑time, remote position offers a competitive hourly rate of $25‑$35 and the flexibility to work from anywhere within the United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize arenaflex’s proprietary medication information entry system to accurately input patient enrollment and prescription data.
  • Handle inbound patient calls, emails, and chat messages, providing courteous, knowledgeable assistance on medication requests, refill status, and general pharmacy services.
  • Initiate outbound communications to prescribers, patients, and third‑party providers to resolve data discrepancies, obtain authorizations, and confirm prescription details.
  • Interpret and enter SIG (signatura) codes, dosage instructions, and other clinical abbreviations while maintaining strict compliance with HIPAA privacy rules.
  • Investigate and resolve “outside oddball” cases by gathering missing information, submitting corrective orders, and documenting resolutions in the system.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and pharmacists across multiple locations, escalating complex issues to senior staff when necessary.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of arenaflex’s policies, state pharmacy regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Achieve a dynamic specialist certification within the first 90 days and retain an active professional license or certification thereafter.
  • Document all interactions in the CRM system, ensuring data integrity and audit readiness.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; additional education in health‑care or business administration is a plus.
  • Basic computer proficiency: ability to power on/off a PC, navigate using a mouse, open/close applications, save and print documents, and browse the internet.
  • Fundamental web navigation skills: entering URLs, using search engines, bookmarking pages, and moving between web pages with back/forward controls.
  • Minimum typing speed of 25 words per minute with a focus on accuracy and the ability to type from memory.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey information clearly both on the phone and in written form.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • At least one year of experience in a pharmacy or retail call‑center environment.
  • One to two years of pharmacy‑related experience with a state‑issued pharmacy license or certification recognized by the State Board of Pharmacy.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders, meeting quality standards and service level agreements.
  • Advanced typing proficiency of 35+ words per minute, with the ability to type accurately while listening to patient information.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English, enabling effective communication with a diverse patient population.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations, pharmacy benefit management (PBM) processes, and electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Attention to Detail: Precise data entry and the ability to spot inconsistencies in medication orders.
  • Customer‑Centric Mindset: Empathy, patience, and problem‑solving skills to address patient concerns promptly.
  • Communication: Clear articulation, active listening, and professional phone etiquette.
  • Technical Aptitude: Comfort with multiple software platforms, CRM tools, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Understanding of HIPAA, state pharmacy laws, and arenaflex’s internal policies.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with pharmacists, technicians, and cross‑functional teams in a remote setting.
