Graphics Driver Software Designer (C / GPU / Linux) Location: Remote Start: 01.07.2026 Duration: until 31.12.2026 (with possible extension) RSB Automotive Consulting is supporting an international technology project in the area of advanced graphics and GPU software development. We are currently looking for an experienced Graphics Driver Software Designer to join a team working on next-generation graphics solutions. The role focuses on low-level driver development and close collaboration with hardware and software teams to ensure high-performance graphics execution in modern computing environments. Key responsibilities Design and development of OpenGL and Vulkan graphics drivers for current and next-generation GPU architectures Participation in the full software development lifecycle: requirements analysis, design, implementation, and testing Collaboration with hardware engineering teams to enable and optimize Vulkan functionality Performance profiling and optimization of graphics drivers to maximize GPU efficiency Supporting integration efforts with customers and external partners during product bring-up phases Contribution to discussions and alignment around Vulkan API behavior and implementation details Ensuring high-quality, maintainable, and efficient driver code Required skills and experience Very good command of English (daily work in an international environment) Strong C programming skills with emphasis on low-level development Solid experience in GPU driver development or related graphics system software Deep understanding of modern graphics APIs (Vulkan and/or OpenGL) Good knowledge of computer architecture (CPU, cache hierarchy, MMU, memory systems) Strong experience working with Linux-based systems Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in complex technical environments Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset Nice to have Experience working according to structured coding guidelines Previous experience in Agile / Scrum development teams Understanding of vector mathematics and 3D graphics concepts Experience in performance tuning of graphics pipelines or drivers We offer Long-term cooperation in an advanced engineering environment Remote work model Participation in cutting-edge graphics and GPU development projects Collaboration with experienced international engineering teams Opportunity to work on next-generation technology shaping modern graphics systems If you are interested in working on low-level graphics technologies and want to contribute to high-performance GPU driver development, feel free to get in touch with RSB Automotive Consulting.
