Lenovo is a global technology powerhouse focused on powering innovation. They are seeking an early-career Sales Engineer to drive digital transformation in the datacenter domain through consultative sales and building customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Leveraging your knowledge in data center technologies for consultative sales
- Engaging with enterprise and acquisition prospects across various industries
- Understanding and articulating the market dynamics and benefits of advanced data center technologies, especially in areas like Converged, Hyper-converged, and Software Defined solutions
- Developing and executing a business plan to meet and exceed your sales targets
- Building and expanding customer relationships through a strategic sales planning approach
Skills
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Entry-level experience or internships in sales, particularly in technology-focused roles
- Exposure to or interest in Converged, Hyperconverged, and Software Defined Solutions
- Show potential in driving data center opportunities and articulating solution benefits
- Have foundational knowledge of the IT marketplace and advanced data center technologies
- Demonstrate budding skills in consultative selling, technology sales, and communication
- Be eager to learn about complex sales cycles and strategies to engage with SMB and Public Sector customers
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- An interest in developing sales strategies and working with Channel partners and technology partners
- A team player attitude, open to learning and adapting to new environments
- Ability to travel into territory 20% of the time
