Vermont Information Processing (VIP) is a technology company focused on the beverage distribution industry, seeking an Application Support Specialist to join their Route Accounting System Customer Support Team. The role involves providing reliable and responsive support to customers, diagnosing and resolving issues, and maintaining accurate records of interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Be the trusted point of contact for customers via phone and email, responding promptly and professionally to inquiries and resolving issues end-to-end
  • Diagnose and resolve customer complaints by gathering the right information, coordinating with internal teams, and seeing issues through to a successful outcome
  • Act as a bridge between customers and internal departments, ensuring the right people are involved at the right time
  • Maintain detailed, accurate records of interactions, transactions, and resolutions to support continuous improvement and team accountability
  • Follow up proactively on open cases to ensure customers feel supported throughout the entire resolution process

Skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • High attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy and confidentiality
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities calmly under pressure
  • College degree preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of the distribution industry is a plus!
