About the Role
Our client, a leading digital wellness platform, is looking for a dedicated and certified Remote Certified Yoga Instructor & Mindfulness Coach to join their innovative, remote-first team. This role is focused on delivering inspiring and effective online yoga classes and mindfulness sessions to a global community. You will leverage your expertise in various yoga styles and mindfulness techniques to guide participants toward improved physical health, mental clarity, and emotional balance, all from your own dedicated workspace. Key Responsibilities
Lead live and pre-recorded online yoga classes across various styles (e.g., Vinyasa, Hatha, Restorative) suitable for different levels. Facilitate guided meditation and mindfulness sessions designed to reduce stress and promote well-being. Develop engaging class content, sequences, and mindfulness exercises that align with platform goals. Provide modifications and adjustments verbally to accommodate diverse participant needs and abilities. Engage with participants through community forums and Q&A sessions to foster a supportive online environment. Stay current with yoga and mindfulness research, trends, and best practices. Collaborate with the content team to create new program offerings and improve existing ones. Maintain accurate records of classes taught and participant engagement. Promote a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all participants. Contribute to the platform's mission of making wellness accessible to everyone, everywhere.
Requirements
Valid certification as a Yoga Instructor (e.g., RYT 200 or higher) from a reputable organization. Certification or demonstrable experience in mindfulness coaching or meditation instruction. Minimum of 3 years of experience teaching yoga and/or mindfulness in group settings (online experience highly preferred). Excellent verbal communication skills and a clear, encouraging teaching style suitable for online delivery. Proficiency with video conferencing platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet) and online streaming technologies. A deep understanding of anatomy, physiology, and the principles of yoga and mindfulness. Ability to create varied and balanced class plans. Self-motivated, reliable, and organized with excellent time management skills for remote work. A genuine passion for promoting health, wellness, and mental well-being. Comfort working independently and as part of a distributed virtual team.
