The Energy Services Data Entry Clerk (Typist) is the backbone of our digital operations. In this remote, work‑from‑home position, you will be the guardian of our client records, the liaison between program staff and our technology platforms, and a key contributor to arenaflex’s mission of making opportunity count.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter, update, and verify client status records in the Statewide Client Service Center, ensuring data reflects the current production pipeline.
  • Monitor incoming emails, log documents, and capture communications in the arenaflex platform (formerly Monday.com) as soon as they are received.
  • Adhere to program guidelines for all required database systems, including arenaflex (formerly CMS), arenaflex (formerly CSG eConservation), arenaflex (formerly HEARTWAP), arenaflex (formerly LIHEAP), and arenaflex (formerly In Demand).
  • Maintain organized digital and paper participant files in strict accordance with program policies, agency standards, and funder compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with program staff to support, enhance, and promote clear communication and consistency in service delivery.
  • Perform a variety of clerical duties, including filing, preparing mailings, providing phone coverage, and assisting with ad‑hoc administrative tasks.
  • Remain available for remote work, attending virtual meetings, responding to emails, and completing regular duties as needed.
  • Participate in all required staff meetings, supervision sessions, training workshops, and contractual briefings.
  • Engage in mandatory agency training and pursue additional professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices.
  • Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality, safeguarding client information at all times.
  • Perform related duties and special projects as assigned by supervisors.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: Associate degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience: Minimum two (2) years of experience in human services, social services, or a closely related field, preferably working with low‑income individuals and families.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining high levels of accuracy and productivity.
