Senior Data Engineer / Analyst
Job Description:
- Build infrastructure: Design pipelines (SQL, dbt, BigQuery) that unify marketing, product, and operational data. Own data quality and event tracking validation.
- Power experimentation: Partner with Product to design and analyze A/B tests across acquisition and activation funnels. Implement Mixpanel instrumentation for new experiments.
- Drive insights: Own funnel reporting, attribution models, and campaign analysis. Build Looker dashboards that surface where the team should focus next.
- Enable AI-driven growth: Support integration of LLM-enriched data models, embeddings, and similarity signals for smarter targeting and segmentation.
Requirements:
- 4+ years in Data Engineering, Analytics, or Growth Data roles (startup/marketplace experience a plus)
- Strong SQL, dbt, and Python skills
- Hands-on experience with BigQuery, Looker, and Mixpanel (or Amplitude/Tableau)
- Deep understanding of funnel metrics, growth experimentation, and marketing attribution
- Ability to translate cross-functional questions into data deliverables
- Bonus points: AI/ML data workflows, A/B testing tools (Optimizely, LaunchDarkly), Airflow, PLG or marketplace analytics, paid channel attribution
