Why This Role Matters

As a Consultant, Global Equity within arenaflex’s Equity Services team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of our long‑term incentive and stock‑plan programs. This is a remote, data‑entry focused position that offers a clear pathway for individuals who are eager to launch a career in finance, equity administration, or HR operations without prior experience. You will work alongside seasoned professionals, gain exposure to complex equity instruments, and develop a skill set that is highly valued across the financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly proactive data audits to verify operational compliance of equity‑based long‑term incentive (LTI) plans and stock‑plan purchase activities.
  • Process the issuance of Performance Share Units (PSU), Restricted Stock Units (RSU), and stock‑plan purchase ratio awards, ensuring accurate timing and documentation.
  • Review equity transaction activity—including option exercises, RSU/PSU releases, and purchase plan actions—to guarantee correct settlement, release, and reporting.
  • Research, track, and respond to inquiries from participants, plan administrators, and other stakeholders, providing clear and timely guidance.
  • Support the equity‑based LTI award delivery process and stock‑plan enrollment activities, collaborating with cross‑functional teams such as payroll, tax, and legal.
  • Generate ad‑hoc data analytics and reporting to aid ongoing operations, identifying trends and recommending improvements.
  • Maintain and update equity administration policies and documentation, ensuring they reflect current regulatory and internal standards.
  • Assist with additional equity‑plan administration tasks as directed, contributing to continuous process enhancements.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • At least 1 year of experience in stock‑plan administration, payroll, tax, accounting, or a comparable discipline is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with multiple equity‑plan products—including stock options, PSUs, RSUs, and purchase plans—is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new tools, systems, and processes quickly, with a strong analytical mindset.
  • Understanding of HRIS platforms (arenaflex) and data‑flow relationships, with the capacity to troubleshoot and resolve data discrepancies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a customer‑service orientation.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience with data‑analysis tools such as Excel, Power Query, or Tableau.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements governing equity compensation (e.g., SEC, IRS, IFRS).
  • Ability to translate complex data findings into actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem‑solving.
  • Proactive attitude, curiosity, and a willingness to take ownership of tasks.

Core Competencies for Success

  • Data Analysis: Ability to interpret large data sets, spot inconsistencies, and produce clear reports.
  • Customer Focus: Commitment to delivering high‑quality service to internal and external participants.
  • Collaboration: Comfortable working in a global, cross‑functional environment with teams across different time zones.
  • Adaptability: Thrive in a fast‑changing environment, embracing new technologies and evolving processes.
  • Integrity: Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and ethical conduct when handling sensitive equity data.
